Meet Dr. Mike Jin
Dr. Mike Jin’s path to dentistry began with a simple idea: creating something meaningful that people could truly enjoy and benefit from. Originally studying architecture, he was drawn to the idea of building spaces and experiences that positively impacted people’s lives. Along the way, working in retail and helping people solve everyday problems reinforced something important to him — genuine care, listening, and trust matter.
That passion ultimately led Dr. Jin to dentistry, where he found a unique opportunity to combine problem-solving, artistry, and meaningful patient relationships. His journey eventually brought him to Newnan, Georgia, where he founded Oak Hill Family Dentistry with a clear vision: to create a practice centered around improving access to care and treating people with honesty, compassion, and respect.
Dr. Jin began his dental career in Athens, Georgia, working in a Medicaid-focused office where he cared for patients from many different backgrounds and experiences. That time played a major role in shaping his philosophy of patient-centered care. He believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and cared for — just as he would want for himself or his own family if the roles were reversed.
Bringing that philosophy to Newnan, Dr. Jin founded Oak Hill Family Dentistry with the goal of creating a welcoming, patient-centered practice where honest communication and personalized care come first. He takes time to explain treatment options clearly, answer questions openly, and help patients feel comfortable making decisions about their oral health. His goal is to provide care that feels approachable, transparent, and never rushed.
Committed to continually improving his clinical skills, Dr. Jin regularly pursues advanced continuing education and training in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative treatment, and prosthetic and denture therapy. Staying current with modern techniques and technology allows him to provide patients with effective, long-lasting treatment options tailored to their individual needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Jin enjoys spending time with his wife, Youjin, and their two cats. When he’s not practicing dentistry, he enjoys hiking, finding great coffee spots, and discovering delicious food. Above all, Dr. Jin believes in treating every patient the way he would want to be treated — with kindness, honesty, respect, and genuine care.
